About FINCA CAN MACIÀ - FERMI BOHIGAS
Caves Bohigas is a winery producing wines and cavas with more than eight centuries of history. It is located in a privileged enclave of the Anoia basin, in Òdena, specifically, in the caves and vineyards of Can Macià, with more than 35 hectares of vines and 200 of extension, among vineyards, cereal fields and forests.
What do FINCA CAN MACIÀ - FERMI BOHIGAS do?
Between the two estates, we find the native varieties of Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada (some more than 50 years old), but also more modern varieties, planted more recently, such as the Mediterranean Garnatxa Blanca or Ull de hare, without renouncing some of the foreign varieties that are best adapted to our land: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a Cabernet vine over 40 years old.
The different qualitative development of the vineyard in the two estates allows the best varieties and qualities of grapes to be selected for each type of product made.
